Well, here we go… the very beginning of Salvager Kain #6, a.k.a. “Tunnel Vision, pt 2″. I know, it’s not much, for the first shot out of the gate. Not even any words! (Sound effects don’t count.) ‘Tis the problem with pacing this story to work as a collected comic versus online half-page posting. At the rate I have it planned, we should get to the actual “title” of the issue displayed sometime in… what, late December? Yup… every five days, a kitten cries for a home… or something.
So if you’ll recall where we left off, Spit the Vicious had been arguing with his morally superior imaginary friend Geoffrey about the killing of Dwoight, Spit’s former teammate. Kain seized the opportunity not to run off, as a dying Dwoight had encouraged him to do, but instead to knock Spit out (and his sidekick Janice the Warpig as well); they now lie unconscious on the cavern floor. What’s more, Kain decides not to flee. He’s got something else in mind, instead of running away…
…which is a good thing too, since right around the corner a fearsome foursome approaches, and Kain hasn’t noticed them.
Yet.
See you on Monday!
