Happy October, everyone! I’m back, but only briefly…
So the good news is I’ve begun work on Salvager Kain #6; the bad news is, you’ll have to wait until November to start reading it. The great news is I’m really excited with how I’ve built the story, and looking forward to (at least) one HUGE change for our bug-eyed shoveler. It’s possible it may also conclude the Tunnel Vision story arc, but too soon to say definitively just yet; I’ve got some flexibility with it at this stage. But I gotta say I think you’ll enjoy some nice payoff to the first five issues when this sixth one is done, and where we go from there… well, that’d be telling. So yes; thanks for being patient; I’ll bring it to you as soon as I can!
And another way for me to say thanks for waiting is with the full short story I’m posting today. It’s a tiny little ditty with a longish name: I call it The Spittish Chronicles, Volume 11: The Greater Affront. This tale was created back in June as a freebie handout for the 2009 Heroes Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I thought it would make a good post to tide you over until SK6 starts. One side note — you’ll notice the first blog posting attached to this story is also the last blog posting; that’s because I still haven’t figured out how to balance postings between the orders of “most recent” versus “first page”.
