So yeah; my original intent was to sneak this story in as a kind of “easter egg” on this site. Over the course of the sixth issue, Kain would spend a short time investigating Dwoight’s backpack and discover these booklets of self-important fan-fic… stuff Spit had made Dwoight write up to promote the group’s adventures. It sounded like a good idea at the time, to build a bit of mythology about Spit and his varying crew. However, in hindsight, spending any “screen time” showing Kain opening a backpack and reading a booklet… well, that’s just the kind of pacing I’m trying to avoid, now. See, I’m like you: I want things to happen. So… maybe somewhere down the road I’ll make room for reading hour, but I can assure you it’s not going to happen in SK6.
