Another installment completed on time! Score for me.
So what’s going on here? Is Spit nuts? Is Kain missing the big picture? Is all this a Ben-Locke-Jacob (-Lost) parody? All I can tell you is this: it was part of the concept for Spit from the get-go — even from the point of his earliest origins, that my friend came up with way back when — and we’re only getting to it now. Of course, once I explain it, you’ll see there’s been at least one hint along the way. Not that I’m clever or anything.
An update for the printing of SK5 The Minicomic: “end of August for sure” might not be accurate, but it won’t be much more past that. As of this writing, I have three and a half more pages to create (17B and 18-20; yes, it’s a 20 page issue) and then all the bits involved with assembling the book for print (covers, inside covers, PDF prep, etc). I was able to do a few test prints a week ago to see how the color-to-greyscale conversions would go, for the art, and I think it’s going to look pretty cool, for not-color. It will look very different than the first four issues, but just keep it in your head that the bug-eyed bastard is Kain, and everything else should be clear from that point on.
Time to start the answer of what Spit’s deal is. See you in another five!
