Yes, don’t doubt it, this is the first chapter of Salvager Kain… available online. I’m sure I’ll live to hate myself for it, but the start of Kain’s webcomic story begins literally MID-WORD from the conclusion of the previous issue. I’ll leave it to the clever kids to deduce what word that is.
So, the start of something… well, something in color, at least. Even over just a few pages, I can already see how I’ve changed my approach. Part of what sold me on jumping to color at all was the idea of coloring it like animation, and once I get a little further ahead with the story, it’s likely I’ll make a page on the site showing the process I use to make this happen. I’ll tell you beforehand, so maybe you can have some chips and a soda on standby in case it gets a little wordy.
And yeah, I do like hand-lettering. What of it?
